Avoided COVID for over 2 years. Stayed home, away from people, away from events, skipped a honeymoon. Finally planned a trip for Tom and I, our first big trip since becoming a couple, and look what we got. Thankfully, it’s mild at the moment. But I’m definitely not happy.

He offered but didn’t push me. He also made the course work for me while I’m struggling. The fact that this is an option is amazing on my university’s part. But my professor truly has made a difficult process exponentially easier for me. #UWYO
I was planning to withdrawal from a class in my masters program due to some health issues and retake when able. But my professor offered me an option to take an incomplete and continue to work on it through the summer. The way he approached it was the most kind and empathic.
You would think that as a pharmacist, I would have a better idea of how not to have issues getting my medication each month. But I still have a difficult time every month. What a joy it must be to be healthy. 😔
One of my biggest pet peeves is when a provider orders meds on a patient who already has those exact meds ordered, and they override the duplicate alert. Ignoring the alerts is dangerous and negligent. I think they are annoying too, but they are their for a reason.

Before today, I felt pretty confident that I had encountered most causes of anemia until this was pulled from the upper esophagus of a 3 year old. They've been feeding it for a while. Hb was 3 g/dL.
