I am the admin and the thing I hear most is “you don’t pay my cell phone bill” when I attempt to take a phone from a kid misusing it. My thought is they don’t pay my salary, and I’m responsible for their performance.

@kredzsays @JonahLisa @heymrsbond We have moved to phone free classrooms this year. The strategy is power with, not power over kids making this decision. Kids work at their own pace at my school and have been allowed phones for the last 6 years. They agree they are a distraction.

I pay fair share of taxes as a host. Plus property taxes. Bad hosts giving a bad name, not the idea of STVR, which is good overall.
