@alicekeeler Others have described basically the same thing here, but subtract the highest place value (10s) then subtract the 1s from what's left. 90-20-3
@historysandoval@LakersHughes@lcccarrillo@CNUSD I know the feeling. We have a 1st grader and a Kinder in DE. The California Association of Bilingual Education (CABE) just created a FB group for people to share resources:

Take your students out into the world and awesome things will happen.

I โค๏ธ this video. How do we get the message to students? This video has two great examples of math people who didn't know they were. Maybe a profile a week of somebody who was courageous in math!

Do you know math well enough to teach 6th grade? California doesnโt think so if you canโt solve problems like these. I believe that California's math subject matter competency test (CSET) is awful and needs to be completely overhauled. https://t.co/02Z0Lh2iXo #iteachmath#MTBoS
@quizizz is so great! I start the quiz as soon as my first student is ready and students can join mid-game: no penalty!
And my early finishers can work on the automatically-generated flashcards while everyone makes their way through! AND THEN we can do item-analysis as a class!
