Today, I hosted a working lunch at State House with the Chair of the United States Export-Import (EXIM) Bank, @JJovanovicUSA , and his delegation to discuss current and future projects.

Our discussions focused on strengthening our partnership, advancing the gas-to-energy project, and reviewing other initiatives supported by the bank in Guyana. We also examined key priority areas, including food security, government efficiency and national security, all critical to Guyana’s continued development.

I was joined by members of my Cabinet, Chief of Defence Staff of the Guyana Defence Force, Brigadier Omar Khan, and US Ambassador to Guyana, Her Excellency Nicole Theriot.
