Honestly whatever you do in this life, just win man. Everything people mock you for will seem like genius in retrospect once you win. Don't argue, just win.
the saddest lie people believe is that there is an age where life is basically over. like there’s some invisible deadline for becoming successful, confident, loved, healthy, fulfilled.
so they slowly give up on themselves. they stop trying new things. stop believing they can change. they begin living like their future has already been decided. but life is strange. people hit rock bottom at 40 and rebuild themselves at 41. people spend years lost and suddenly discover purpose in a random season of their life. some people bloom early.
some bloom after pain breaks them open.
there is no universal timeline for becoming who you are meant to be. you are not “too old.” you are carrying experiences, failures, heartbreak and lessons that teach you what truly matters in life. people underestimate what happens when someone keeps believing in their future for years without immediate results. because while everyone else slowly becomes cynical, they stay alive inside.
you can change your body. change your mindset. change your career. change your entire life direction. as long as your heart still beats, the story is not finished.
IMGs Get Rejected Before Anyone Reads Their Application!? ⚠️
Most residency programs use automatic filters to screen thousands of applications. If you don’t meet even one filter, your application may never reach a human reviewer.
Common Filters Used by Programs:
• Minimum USMLE Step 1 & Step 2 CK scores
• Attempts (single or multiple attempts automatically excluded)
• Year of Graduation (YOG) cutoffs; often 3–5 years
• Visa Sponsorship (some reject all visa-requiring applicants)
• US Clinical Experience (USCE) requirements
• IMG vs AMG status
• ECFMG certification status
How to Protect Yourself from Auto-Rejection:
• Check program criteria on FREIDA
• Review each program’s website for hidden filters
• Use Residency Explorer for competitiveness ranges
• Apply to IMG-friendly programs that match your profile
• Don’t waste money on programs whose filters you fail
Smart Strategy = Higher Chances of Getting Seen.
Know the filters. Apply strategically. Maximize interviews.

The Nigerian customs core KPI being revenue generation is hilarious & sad tbh , your job is to facilitate international trade & ensure border security man
I watched my left-handed 5yo son write, and noticed he switched to his right hand. He had proper pencil grip and good control. I asked, “Are you writing with your right hand??”
He said “Yeah! I write with my right hand on this side of the paper, and I write with my left hand on this side.” And proceeded to demonstrate writing with both hands at the same time!
Okay, Leonardo DaVinci.
Someone wants to offer scholarships to 80 children from the South Eastern States from September. He wants it to be evenly distributed across the 5 states.
His intention is to take less privileged or out of school children to nearby private schools.
How do we select them?
Patient relatives suffer more than patients
Nigerian hospitals should have better plan for caregivers
I feel so much for them, running around and still having no where to rest their heads
Not fair
I salute all the XRP OGs who held strong since 2020. I was right there with you, preaching and HODLing under $0.10. You survived the SEC, crushed the FUD, big respect for that.
But let’s be real, XRP is now the 3rd largest crypto with a $212B market cap, it has what I would call a market cap problem.
If you’re buying at $3.60, you’ll need XRP to hit a $424B cap just to 2x, that’s more than Ethereum’s current cap.
If you’re looking for that next altcoin moonshot, you’re better off with assets that still have low market cap + high upside potential.
BTC = undisputed store of value
XRP = proven competitor or should i say battler
New $$$? Look for projects with room to 10x not ones already sitting at the top, I have my favorites.
Always DYOR
One of the things/ patterns you notice is that great people don’t become great out of nowhere, as kids they were put in places where they could see the things / people they could be in the future..

Ever since I heard the founder of Chipotle share how his father loaned him about $100k to start business, I just told myself I need to put myself in a position to one day be able to loan my son $250k to kickstart his own dream.
