@gemmaallred @Ben_Broadribb @LearsShadowFilm @ShaxBull @DrPeteKirwan Many thanks, Gemma and Ben!

[@benbroadribb.bsky.social @Ben_Broadribb]

Incredibly pleased to see my review of @LearsShadowFilm in @ShaxBull 38.4, a reflective piece on @brianelerding's intimate and affecting 'adaptation-adjacent' of King Lear. Many thanks to @DrPeteKirwan for the opportunity to review and for his generous editorial support!

[Bruce Wright (goodbye Elon) @heybrucewright]

@MariaMondloch Did you get to do the Midsummer Night's Dream production in Descanso Gardens like 2 years ago? Multi-threaded, small groups on different paths. Whispering fairies in the woods! All came together for the ending!

[Brian Elerding @brianelerding]

@heybrucewright @MariaMondloch Sorry for the slow reply, I’m bad at The Twitter. Thanks Bruce! We’ll be bringing back our immersive forest Midsummer soon. In the meantime we’ll be a different type of thing at Descanso, Sept 16-18, called What You Will, which is getting a website today: https://t.co/1S5AtL6yLj

@RadioRayhan @ChappellTracker It felt special even at the time, and i was honored to be there.

[Brian Elerding @brianelerding]

@CylonN6 @jones_writer @ChappellTracker I really liked the camaraderie on set. Folks are together, played board games together in their down time. It was a group of people that really cared for one another.

[Brian Elerding @brianelerding]

@JohnySpeedball @jones_writer @ChappellTracker Hey thanks! I feel honored to have been a part of it. Everyone on set knew they were involved in something special.

[Brian Elerding @brianelerding]

@iamlaurasaurus @jones_writer @ChappellTracker I‘m sure that @JanieBryant can answer better than I can, and if you don’t follow her you should. I believe because I was a fairly small role on the show that my pieces were vintage, but Janie created entire outfits from scratch for the leads.

[Brian Elerding @brianelerding]

@thatchelseagirl That was so brutal, wasn’t it?

[Brian Elerding @brianelerding]

@HenryKu08 @EyalLampert @jones_writer @ChappellTracker Jon Hamm is totally handsome irl, and *very* funny. I don’t recall how tall, but I’m about 6’ and he was in that neighborhood. Matt Weiner was nothing but kind to me. I was very small potatoes over there, but he knew my name and made me feel included when he didn’t have to.

[Brian Elerding @brianelerding]

@Valravengale @EyalLampert @jones_writer @ChappellTracker No, since Christina is a wonderful human being and a great actor, I just felt for Joan. It’s good fun as an actor to shoot challenging scenes. In fact, I believe this scene was used by the network (with others) to push her Emmy nom! (Deserved)

[Brian Elerding @brianelerding]

@gm_palmer @EyalLampert @jones_writer @ChappellTracker 1: *none*. @JanieBryant is a boss and I wouldn’t cross her if you paid me
2: sadly, nothing to share. Got a few cool haircuts tho
3: this one was pretty wonderful because of the cast
4: technically I’m not background on the show since I spoke, but maybe the 1 where Don fires me!

[Brian Elerding @brianelerding]

@jones_writer @ChappellTracker She was a very giving actor to work with, and has a great sense of humor. It was fun to see how many people on the show were total clowns when the camera stopped rolling. Jon Hamm especially. V fun group of people. Honestly other projects often pale next to my exp. with Mad Men.

[Brian Elerding @brianelerding]

@Aranchavanderv @ChappellTracker Hey thanks! It was fantastic.

[@benbroadribb.bsky.social @Ben_Broadribb]
