I had a rather disturbing experience at @wimpy_sa Gansbaai this weekend. I received awesome service, but when I wanted to add a tip to my bill, I was told by the waitron that all tips paid by bank card goes to "the house" and that they, as service staff do not receive it.

She said that they, as service staff, they could keep any tips given in cash, but do not receive the tip should I pay by card. Honestly, I find this disgusting. Is this a @wimpy_sa policy? If so, why would you keep the tip that should go to the service staff?

I am SOOOOO frustrated with the @StandardBankZA EFT payment process. I am trying to pay for something in @TAKEALOT and I get routed to scan a QR code in the @StandardBankZA application. Now how do I scan a QR code when I am using the @TAKEALOT application on my phone????

@StandardBankZA I have just gone thru the process (again for the 10th time), and the EFT transaction worked. It seems the glitch was fixed.

@StandardBankZA Clearly, you do not understand my issue. I am trying to use the "Pay using EFT process" in this AND other merchant apps, and I get routed to having to scan a QR code. Why???? I did not specify I want to us a QR code. I get FORCED to use it when trying to use my Std Bank account

@StandardBankZA I am using the "EFT" option thru "Payfast." There are other payment options like using a Card or COD, but I want to do an EFT. There is no option not to use the QR code as when I put in my Standard Bank account info, I then get asked to scan the QR code.
