Just found out about Paul, so shocked. He was a great friend and funniest guy I ever knew when we worked together at Wishaw Mecca, in the 80's. I was the GM, Paul was my Assistant Manager. Lost touch when I moved to London. Always wanted to contact him again. RIP Korky !

He began to record a video diary to share his story.

We've received the sad news that Paul has died. Our thoughts are with this wife Bridget, and his family and friends.

@bbc5live Just found out about Paul, so shocked. We worked together in the 80's at Wishaw, Mecca Bingo. I was the Manager, Paul the assistant manager. We were great friends, Paul was one of the funniest guy's I ever knew. RIP Korky ( his nickname ).
