@DividendMil Exactly. Heavily fund it early and then just let it sit and grow!
We’re mid 30s and our balance is $500k. We don’t contribute to 401(k) anymore but we still contribute backdoor Roth IRAs. My math has is at $4M by 59. Way more than what we’ll need, especially with options.
@BoomerDivvies Taxable brokerage all day. My house is $750k - 6% broker fees + closing costs + any cap gains taxes over the 121 exclusion.
Taxable brokerage will create income for me to live off of.
@iamcoriarnold 100% agree when you’re early in your journey, which is technically a VERY large percentage of the population.
Once that nest egg gets much bigger, this is less impactful.
@RealKhaylee I have my money for a reason, might as well buy some of my time back. We hire a cleaner twice a month and tidy in between. Same with our lawn, but tbf it’s 5+ acres so I’m not cutting that myself.
@DividendMil You’re right! I already have 6 long ITM calls so I didn’t need to increase that sizing but it’s more so for the income.
Stake $10k and pays out $1k and it expires next Friday. So 10% return for an 11 day hold period.
Ben @BenShelton is the 2nd highest ranked American player at #6 . He played at @UF Gators
He’s an exciting player and he’s in a battle vs unranked Mannarino. Yet @espn keeps showing Jessica Pegula, the Nepo Baby daughter of a billionaire. So frustrating being a tennis fan.
@DividendDude_X If they reach guidance of ~$4B they’ll still be 100x earnings…
I bought a Jan2027 $125P on Monday to be “safe” and I’m only up like 15% but I’m betting on a real correction soon.
Going from $30 to $175 in one year cannot be healthy…
