I used to meditate every day for 30-60 minutes. Life’s been chaotic so I’ve been off my practice the last couple of months.
Had a 2 hour solo drive yesterday. Decided to do the whole drive in silence. So many emotions, stressors, and fears bubbled up and I cried nearly the whole time. It was a bit overwhelming, but I knew at my core I just needed to release and let the emotions flow as much as they needed to. Months of tension finally had the time and space to soften and surrender.
Silence and stillness continue to be the essential regulation tools. So many humans are missing this healing and clarity on a regular basis.
The era of minimalism is over. Nobody wants matte black carpentry anymore. Give me beautiful talavera tiles. Stained glass windows. A rustic farmhouse sink. The more detail, the more soul.
