@Tim_Burgess@SteveMartinToGo Tim that is not THE Steve Martin's account, it's some kind of luggage retailer. It took me a moment to realise why you and Lawrence were getting so excited. But I believe Mr Martin has left twitter for Threads after being hacked
@Criterion Salo is easily the most disturbing film I've ever seen. I watched it many years ago when it was briefly un-banned in Australia, and I've never seen so many people walk out of a film.
@hering_david I re-watched Furiosa the other night - still a little bit too much CGI for my taste - but , for this lifelong Mad Max fan, a thrill to see an epic, 15-year story unfold in that world. (And the Furiosa/Praetorian Jack/Octoboss battle is just incredible)
@lmk8688@newstart_2024 They haven't - his opinions on this have been recently reported in the Daily Mail and on News Corp sites (which should tell you all you need to know).
@bbqbobs Because I'm not sure that Melania in sunglasses = fake Melania. I'm not saying it's not the kind of thing that Trump would thing of, but - the physicality, the jaw, the cheekbones. It looks like Melania to me.
Very sorry to hear about the passing of our old label boss and collaborator, Quincy Jones. We were on his label Qwest for many years, he did a great remix of Blue Monday in 1988. We send all our condolences and thoughts to his family, he was a true legend!
@DonaldEBeaneJr @NateCampbell95@armormodechang Genuinely cannot tell whether you're taking the piss or not, but Leigh Brackett (a woman) did a script for Empire Strikes Back, not "the first one". And yeah, then she died.
@thebooksdesk I visited Christchurch about ten years ago, and I kinda get what she's saying? I found it a fascinating place - and I get that it had been almost leveled by an earthquake - but not welcoming. The people seemed aloof.
