No, I don’t think a slur being yelled involuntary is the same as somebody consciously making an effort to be racist. Can a person with Tourette’s be racist yes, but I wouldn’t use this particular instance to make that determination.

Are y’all actively spreading misinformation about Tourette’s? Yes. There are black ppl with Tourette’s specifically coprolalia. Black ppl’s actions are already seen as aggressive and constantly over policed. This made up idea that “they pick their tics” “they can control it” and “it’s okay to beat them up over their tics Tourette’s or not” put the same black ppl you’re trying to protect from racial slurs in danger
