@sue_scheiring@LynnLock328 I disagree. My husband lost mobility due to a neurodegenerative brain disease. He was in his late sixties. Our single level house was a lifesaver. We were able to continue weight training at the gym which was free due to Medicare. Weight training is huge.
@thepointsguy Reno to San Francisco. You fly over Lake Tahoe, then the Sierras, then Pt. Reyes turn at the ocean over the Golden Gate bridge and then over San Francisco. You have to be on the correct side of the plane to see all this - usually the left - and altitude is lowish
@fasc1nate My flt in 1973 from SFO to JFK had a coach lounge in the rear of plane. Was a 727 I think. Flight attendant took Polaroid shots of people in lounge. I still have mine. Was a great flight!
@Bob_Wachter We must have gotten a bad one when my husband was in hospital with heart attack. I asked a question which he said he needed to look at chart to answer. Never came back. He didn’t have another emergency to attend to per nurses- who were awesome
@mikesimonsen Reno has an all volunteer municipal ski program - Sky Tavern. The only one in the country. Our kids learned through that. It was obviously very affordable especially when you add in their ski swap.
