The UK government called for public consultation on reforming their Gender Recognition Act to allow for gender self ID in 2018. UK women said NO! TERF Island was born, & sanity has begun to return there in law & policy. Public consultation matters @JuliaGillard @AustralianLabor

@sandylanceley Indeed. It was the UK Governments call in 2018 for public consultation on reforming their Gender Recognition Act to allow for gender self-identification. Women responded. The UK became TERF Island. A loud NO! resulted & sanity began to re-emerge in law. Aussie women listened.
