@aaronrand I understand the whole Canadian Tux thing. And it could have been done tastefully. This ‘uniform’ is horrible. How are the athletes supposed to feel proud when they look like graffiti found under a bridge. Seriously.
@SerahBAuthor I am Métis, live on the West Coast, photographer, play piano, have a British husband and lived in London for 3 years so I know a lot of random British sayings and random facts. Ask away!
With the world being as chaotic as it is, it could be easy to cry all day... instead, before you start crying put a timer on. When the alarm goes off, get up and shake it off. There’s a lot of life, love and happiness waiting for each of us who’s willing to work for it. ❤️
@jake_fluekiger A romance novel is about 2 people who want to be together & can’t be, they overcome the obstacle, and then they end up happily together at the end. There can be sex scenes, and there can be sexy scenes, but romance novels are more about the desire/want/need to be together.
Things I learned today: only 40 people are allowed in the grocery store at a time, that older people don’t understand social distancing; and that putting my hair in a loose braid is not enough. A strand came loose and was tickling my face.
@inLaurasWords My husband has worked from home for the last 15 years, but now I don’t have excuses to leave the house. Thank goodness he has his own office. When he got his first headset, he’d wander the house while having meetings, sushing me while I was making dinner. Not cool...
@BillAicher Think of it this way: we haven’t been called to war, we’ve been told to safe by staying inside our homes with our beds, heat, televisions, and do nothing but lay low.
