@BeschlossDC I was 11 living in Ireland. We had no tv and the word spread throughout the area. My father went to our neighbor who had a good radio. One family in the parish had a tv and everyone went there.

@CyrusMMcQueen My mother called me aside once and told me she never wanted to hear me saying anything against protestants. Jimmy Brown is a protestant and he's a good man. I think that was a seed that was planted at a young age and helped open my mind.

@CyrusMMcQueen Thank you Cyrus for following me.That is such an honor and I just want to add to my original reply. My irish catholic aunt married a Scotch protestant. They vi a item us in Ireland every summer. We lived on the border of the occupied area and protestants were not popular.
