Rode the bikes from Lake Louise up to Moraine Lake @BanffNP on the first Saturday the road has been closed to cars. WOW🤩 what a trip.
Hundreds of bikers and walkers all the way up and back.
There's a stiff climb about half way up but the ride down is a blast.
100% Excellent day
Peeked out the window on the way to bed and saw the #noctilucent clouds were out and quite bright.
20minutes crunched to 14 sec.

Seeing some bubble pics showing up without a date, this is what #AbrahamLake looked like last Sunday, Nov.7 not far from Windy Point.
Ice just starting to form up at west end.
Ice was very thin at Preacher's Point, not frozen across yet.
You could see the first layer of bubbles starting to form. Surface is littered with rocks already 🙁
80 years ago in May of 1941 my father Charles L Boomer(1922-1990) joined the Canadian Armed Forces in Toronto. He served with the Royal Hamilton Light Infantry until discharge in 1946. Rolling through some old photos today the memories are strong.

Crescent Falls, on the Bighorn River west of Nordegg, #Alberta looks the same as it always has but access to it has changed a lot since we were there last. A good thing probably.
A thread of supercells to help out @Palash_Kamal with his academic research on Canadian Prairie LP and HP supercells. Hop on and add your supes if you like, just need a date and time to go with.

2000km my not so new but trouble free e-bike since April. Had one puncture but made it home before it went flat. Excellent biking weather this summer and a few km to go yet 😎
