Well, grain is up overnight. Oats knows what's going on, but min wheat can't get its shit together.
Speaking of getting its shit together, there was a big offer yesterday to sell wheat for $8.00. Yep, but min was trading at $9.33 with exchange. So on the special wink wink, only a $1.33 basis.
Quit falling for this BS. Wheat isn't plentiful, and countries are still using bread plus fertilizer shortages. Guys will put money into crops that make a buck, not one that's priced the same as a Coke and Snickers bar.
Crush plant is open by Regina. This is great news. Behind the scenes it has a $63 basis; other crush plants are $40 or under. I guess "let's pay for it in one year" is the strategy.
But don't get me wrong, they aren't the only player in the house. It's too bad the other two weren't built that were announced years ago. Competition works. Sort of like pinky swear deals don't work and ironclad deals do. Carney gets pinky swear deals.
Big storm coming is now not so big, and that's a good thing.
Other big storm in Sask: Monette is restructuring or something, plus another farm is in a legal issue. Slow and steady wins the race.
Farms in the 5,000 to 10,000 acre range are loyal to community, don't drive up land rents, don't drive up fake land values, and make money. Check out the U of S papers on it. Family farms do work. Plus rentals over area average by $50 to $75 don't work.
Let's see if the storm freezes more wheat down south as it spins cold air down.
Forgot one last thing: Ag Canada has rules and rules and rules for new products that come to the market in other countries, are studied, and then when companies try to sell them here, regulatory out the asshole. It's costly and wrong.
70% of farmers can’t afford fertilizer in the US.
This is the moment to pivot to biostims. All that fertilizer you have in the ground requires a method to absorb it. As soon as people realize uptake is more valuable than fertilizer rate the industry will never be the same.

@EdmontonOilers@RogersPlace@Enterprise Hey coach. Maybe you noticed that you actually have some players here that are pretty good when used in a roll that fits them. Lines staying mostly the same and the results are following. Great teamwork. Keep it going.
@maythefourth69@TSNRyanRishaug He’s not a Center. Maybe they would but if he’s not playing up here, better to keep him playing down there. They have a couple guys down there that could come up and play 4th line. He doesn’t need 4th line time.
🚨 AG News: UFA buys AgraCity in asset purchase for $48.2 million bid.

@DevinDVote What a great legacy of top service and delicious food. In the 90’s they sponsored a chuckwagon that I drove for a family at Westerner Days. They took me for 1 meal a day at Glenn’s. It was always delicious.

Dach is a Chicago favorite for his physical play... he hits a loooot
We are not getting a lot of offense... but we are tougher and bigger TODAY!
Dach: 6'4, 218lbs
Dickenson: 6'2, 200lbs
Murphy: 6'4, 212
@jasondemers5 I think Mangi had to play 1 shift in the AHL before he could be traded with the cap situation but don’t know that for sure. Murphy trade happened before he played I think.
@NHLRumourReport I just can’t see it! Huge salary for a vanilla player that hasn’t shown up since he signed the huge money. Why would you want him. Be glad the Nucks have to play him.
