🚨 BREAKING: Analilia Mejia, the progressive challenger backed by Bernie Sanders and AOC, has won the Democratic primary in a special election for New Jersey’s 11th House district, previously held by Mikie Sherrill.

Her main opponent, former Rep. Tom Malinowski, conceded Tuesday as Mejia’s lead continued to grow, reaching several hundred votes by Tuesday morning.

Mejia is now the heavy favorite in the April 2026 general election, where she will face Republican Joe Hathaway.
