Loving how people use tattoos to reclaim parts of their body they hold trauma in. Or as a tool to prevent exterior self harm (cutting/burning/scratching) because they care for the art. Tattoos are self care.

I have NEVER seen a gunshot wound in a child, and have not seen a gunshot wound in anyone for over 20 years.
This cause of death is the result of "choices" by politicians and the people they represent.
They may not all be your “personal picks,” but one thing I *do* love about this year’s acting winners quartet at the #Oscars is how they’re all actors who have been counted out - or shut out - at various points in their careers and came back against the odds to come out on top.

Yes, this world can be hard. Yes, there are people in this world who are cruel. That is why we must find our moments of delight, of joy, of beauty, of kindness. We must tend & nurture these things just as one would the plants in a garden. Only then will we begin to see change.
Men totally get it and are so empathetic when I say a dog doesn’t like men because they’ve been abused by them but don’t understand when I replace the word “dog” with “woman”
@MsBabyCatcher I worked outpatient for a couple years after the hospital. Now back in the hospital. It’s up to you, doors aren’t going to close you’re just using different skills.
