South Africa has the free market upside-down.
The state runs closed-source systems—opaque, centralised, and unaccountable—while ordinary citizens are forced to “open source” their lives: self-custody Bitcoin just to keep their property safe from SARB overreach. @FMFSouthAfrica@LexLibertasOnX
We need the reverse. Open the government. Transparent rules, competitive markets, and real property rights so people don’t have to state-proof themselves against the very institutions meant to serve them. @DavidAnsara@ErnstRoets
Open source everything. Let freedom work.
We need your help to fight SARB - donations appreciated 👇

🚨Latest French tax authority hack exposes 2 million taxpayer records.
Expect gangs here in South Africa salivating when your home address is leaked because you have declared your Bitcoin holdings @francispouliot_
Crypto-related kidnappings, extortion, burglary will become a thing in South Africa - worst is that we don't know if they're actual criminals or SARB seizing your crypto via the draft Capital Flow Management Regulations.
Bitcoin self-custody is private property.

So i see sars want declarations. How do you declare a crypto currency that is on millions of servers across the world? It is always with you although you never have it with you? You are not moving it across borders, it is borderless?? @sarstax
@StandardBankZA should change their name to ANC. Equally useless!!!!! Waiting 15 minutes for and email to verify!! Still not able to access my accounts. Luckily i have moved to @Investec can’t wait to finally close the @StandardBankZA account!!!!

🚨 The National Treasury just doxxed 300+ South Africans.🚨
An employee sent confirmation replies to everyone who submitted comments on the draft Capital Flow Regulations… without using BCC. 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️
All those email addresses are now exposed in plain sight. 🔍
This is the exact incompetence we’ve been warning about.
🚨 URGENT: They’re coming for your Bitcoin freedom RIGHT NOW.
Paying for groceries and coffee with Bitcoin in South Africa? That simple, everyday freedom is about to be strangled.
The draft Capital Flow Management Regulation of 2026, in its current form, would make it extremely onerous and effectively illegal to use Bitcoin for normal daily purchases.
This is not a drill.
Bitcoin is rules without rulers — and they’re trying to replace it with rulers without rules.
