The Guardian is pushing the lie that America needs “huge amounts of extra land” if people eat more meat.

That’s nonsense.

The United States already raises enough cattle to feed our entire country. We don’t have a cow problem. We don’t have a land problem. We don’t have a diet problem.

We have a control problem.

Four corporations control most of U.S. beef processing. When they shut plants, slow slaughter, or ship our best beef overseas, they create fake shortages — then blame ranchers, consumers, and cows.

Cattle turn grass, crop residue, and land humans can’t eat into real food. That land doesn’t magically disappear because a newsroom doesn’t understand agriculture.

This is exactly why we built the American Rancher Alliance — to keep American beef with American families, restore competition, and break the chokehold.
