Israel has a right to do whatever it wants in the West Bank as long as they don’t violate human rights which they of course didn’t. The West Bank has been occupied since 1967 because Jordan aggressed against Israel by allowing an Egyptian general to control their army at a time that Egypt was actively and openly pursuing to destroy Israel.
I quite specifically said that Gazans deserve to lose Gaza on the basis of their repulsive and barbaric culture, but Jews are too civilized to take it from them. This is the moral calculus of what the Gazans deserve versus what the Jews are willing to do. More importantly, nobody in Israel would be willing to sacrifice a single soldier in order to expel them. Expulsion is not ethnic cleansing. Every German civilian was expelled from Poland at the end of the Second World War, which they richly deserved. This is no different, except that the Palestinians are worse than Nazi Germans.
@NeilBoltonRSPL@_bass_head_@AssalRad No I don’t want them to all be killed. They might like the idea of them all being killed for their ridiculous ideology. All I care about is protecting Israeli democracy from the kind of deranged historical guilt which threatens democracy in Germany and the United States.
@crowbar_up@AssalRad The Palestinian national movement is based on nothing but destruction of its “opponent”. It thinks nothing about its own future because it is genocidal. It deserves unconditional defeat. Israelis won’t dish that out because they consider it immoral.
@CarolChircescu@AssalRad Hitler didn’t deport anyone to a country he didn’t control and have death camps in and neither has Israel. Pretending it’s the same is psychotic. They deserve to be kicked out because they’re more irresponsible than all other Arabs, but it won’t happen.
@_bass_head_@AssalRad More or less. The Palestinians deserve more punishment than they’ve received, but it won’t happen because the Jews can’t bring themselves to do it. That’s the Middle East.
@Optimistbot@AssalRad I think I said the exact opposite of that. Israeli democracy won’t permit the displacement of the Gazans in spite of their repulsive culture.
Have you noticed that Palestinians never seem to have “good friends” telling them “hard truths” such as: “The war you have been waging for more than a century against Jewish self-determination has been a disaster, brought nothing but bloodshed, and has been a complete failure”?
Public opinion is never correct in the Arab world. When Arab leaders become worse than their public opinion, then they need to be taken out, like Saddam Hussein. This is why Obama was foolish for not supporting Mubarak. Mubarak was more civilized than the vast majority of Egyptians.
@IhabHassane Define occupation my dear boy. If I scratch a little, my guess is the answer will include 8 million people, not a few hundred thousand living in some hills on the other side of a wall.
