If you or someone you know is suffering from domestic violence during this lockdown, know that you are not alone.
Call the police on 999, if it is not safe for you to speak then press 55. The operator will know you are calling about a domestic violence incident and send help.
We stand in solidarity with the Palestinian residents of Sheikh Jarrah in East Jerusalem. Israeli forces are forcing families from their homes during Ramadan and inflicting violence.
It is inhumane and the US must show leadership in safeguarding the human rights of Palestinians.
This afternoon Mike and I had a wonderful canvassing session in Frome Vale. Friends from Manchester and London canvassed with us. Cllr Kasim Ali (London), Cllr Mahadi H Sharif Mahamed (Manchester), Abdirahman Somali Khalil Aden Abdi and Abti Abdi Omar Mohamed. Thanks so much.
CEOs earn on average 120 times more than the average worker. This disparity in remuneration does not reflect the value contributed by these individuals to either their company or society. Meanwhile, unemployment is set to hit 10% by Christmas @premnsikka

30% of companies accessing "emergency funds" are using them to pay shareholders dividends - totalling over £11billion to date. Yet some people in this country are kicking up a fuss about a tiny number of desperate refugees claiming £5 per day...? https://t.co/3CBwG6IkXQ

@KerryMP speaking in Parliament about the continued health and social inequalities suffered by people of colour in our communities.
The review in Bristol was commissioned by @CllrAsherCraig & @MarvinJRees and conducted by @LMamluk & @TimJones1978 at @BristolUni.
Great stuff from @bristoleastlab, and South West ambassador @JohnHirst7 - fantastic spokesman for the @LabourDrugRef!
Still very proud of the #DrugPolicy motion we at @newburyclp submitted to conference 2019. Hopefully more CLPs push for reform, so we can better our society.
Bristol East CLP has passed motions calling for drug policy change. We support @LabourDrugRef in driving a change in policy that supports social justice, an end to racist drug laws and ending the punishment of society’s most vulnerable.
This is not just insulting to the #BlackLivesMatter
movement, it is deeply embarrassing for Dominic Raab.
He is supposed to be the Foreign Secretary of the United Kingdom.
