I find #BlackHistoryMonth uncomfortable and counter productive.
I want to just get on with my life and focus my energy on making my dreams reality. Yet for a whole month the focus is on my skin colour like I’m in a zoo . It creates division and reinforces negative stereotypes of black culture just so politicians and personalities can pat themselves on the back.

Dust off the MLK “I have a dream” speech. Copy & paste #BlackLivesMatter onto every post. “Like” the generic @BarackObama waffle when he post. Que the jpg of the @UKLabour & @Conservatives leader with a random Rastafarian (to show your not just down with black people… but your REALLY down)
All this effort for a few browny points , a few votes, a little street cred . All to be quickly forgotten when it hits Nov 1st.

Nod , smile and clap as @SholaMos1 calls whites racist on national tv without challenge… again , as gang knife violence seeps into society norm because everyone and @metpoliceuk are afraid to say it is majority young black males involved.

In 2020 Miriam Margolyes said she wanted Boris Johnson to die on live TV while he was seriously ill with COVID - No further action.

Did the same people calling for GB News to be shut down call for the BBC and Channel 4 to be shut down?

Of course they didn't. The double standards are utterly staggering.
