Faction restrictions are exclusive to the PvP ruleset. These people are complaining about not being allowed to play both sides in PvP.

The symbols have also been altered to fix this, with the updated versions attached to this same apology.

The Knight could be anyone, or no one (pure darkness like the Titan) and what decides if it works will be how it's executed.

You're a bad writer if you think the Knight can only work as any one specific character.

@tracewyrm It's also entirely possible that some of the 'mysteries' will be solved all at once due to either being connected or literally the same guy playing two separate roles in the story that fans have mistakenly split into two separate characters/mysteries (mainly looking at ERAM here)
