We need to be real about failure and talk more about the loss. Yes, the wins can be life-changing. But so too can failure. A very small percentage of real humans who are putting a lot on the line to build something will experience the outcome they hoped for.
Looking up from my computer to find my cat lounging on the dining table keeps me humble. There is much we cannot control in life despite our best attempts.
