Witch of the Black Forest is due a ban. Maybe not this list, maybe not the next list even but this card is committing war crimes next format.

Make DMOD > add Curtain > Summon this > Make Contract Witch > Witch adds Droll and Contract Witch adds Illusion of Chaos for Dragoon.

@scoutbuggy branded retribution is a strong branded card versus blitz. If I have ash & im facing branded im most likely going to attempt to prevent my branded opponent from getting to that card. Hope the explanation helped! There are a lot more examples I can give but I felt this one was gud

@scoutbuggy Heya! Blitz player here (not the guy who topped, but someone who often makes guides for them). I just wanted to bring up, ash isnt necessary in our deck to beat/insulate other cards, but more so make it slightly easier to defeat other MUs. Perfect example: prevent albion resolvin

@PRRJ22 As someone who likes going 2nd decks (Gem-Knights, Ryu-Ge, Blitzclique, Shaddoll, Lunalight, Dracotail [yes I have played it blind 2nd], etc.) I havent found this issue for me particularly. My main gripe is how much better is engine going 1st in comparison. It needs a tune-up imo

@Gnurrgard I play a couple of gacha games (and funnily enough this state of the game in YGO doesn’t phase me too much, because there is even worse game balancing in some of these I play). Besides that I’m studying to become an actual licensed electrician (which is quite ironic for me iykyk)

Lightning Crash is a good card for Blitz, but I don’t think it ultimately dictate’s their position in the format. I understand other consistency cards we have are a bit more nuanced, but at the same time its not by a large margin. For those interested I did make a guide for that
