@DrKateTO I asked my MPP- gave me an inaccurate point form talking points- I replied again asking for WHERE the funds were coming from- my tax paying $ or their pockets? And why speed limits exist… also asked if I get pulled over and tell the JP it’s a cash grab I’ll get it dropped.

Speed cameras were meant to make streets safer, not fill city coffers.

One camera in Brampton issued 32,000 tickets in just three weeks. That is not safety, that is a money grab.

Our government is ending cash grab cameras and investing in real safety measures like speed bumps, signage, and education to stop speeding before it happens.

We are standing up for drivers, parents, and families.
