As a result of a US government directive, we are suspending access to Claude Fable 5 for all users. You can continue to use all other Claude models.
Here’s what this means for you:
Across Claude products, new sessions will run on your selected default model or Opus 4.8, and existing Fable 5 sessions will end with an error.
On the Claude Platform, requests to Fable 5 will also return an error. Please update your integrations to other Claude models.
We know this is a disruption to your workflows; we appreciate your patience and support.
We're hosting the IoT Playground at @CypherCon again on April 1–2 in Milwaukee!
Come hack vulnerable smart devices, crack BLE CTFs, pull firmware, and cause general RF chaos. All skill levels welcome!

Recently I was targeted by an extremely sophisticated phishing attack, and I want to highlight it here. It exploits a vulnerability in Google's infrastructure, and given their refusal to fix it, we're likely to see it a lot more. Here's the email I got:
We're honored to lead the IoT Playground at CypherCon this year. Stop by and practice hacking some IoT devices and learn how to hack Bluetooth on our intentionally vulnerable BLE devices!

Why is end-to-end #IoT#security testing so important? Just ask one of the 12,000 NurseryCam users whose credentials were leaked this week (https://t.co/5NY2mFC2hR).

Ansible...wow. Finally dove into learning it & converting all of our random scripts and snippets into playbooks so we can automate our dropbox and attack box builds, manage tool configs, user accounts, alerting, etc. I love the consistency this will bring our to our testing envs!
Not only do you need to patch your systems in a timely manner, but don't forget to update your vulnerability scanner plug-ins frequently too!
We frequently find vulns that are being missed by corporate scanners due to out of date plug-ins!
There's still time to sign up for the Embedded Online Conference! Our @brkr19 will present "IoT Hacks: Behind the Scenes" at 5pm EDT on May 20.
