The call to follow Jesus is a decisive moment for every Christian. If someone does not find the courage to set out on the journey, the risk is to remain a spectator of one’s own existence and to live the faith halfway. #GospelOfTheDay (Mt 4:12-23)
Superior General's Christmas Letter: "This sense of the holy may not be as discernible in
societies where cathedrals are loftier, and the state takes
the task of putting order in society and providing social services to its people." @BrArminLuistroF
We shall soon be in a world in which a man may be howled down for saying that two and two make four, in which people will persecute the heresy of calling a triangle a three-sided figure, and hang a man for maddening a mob with the news that grass is green.
We are a teaching order of religious Brothers in the Catholic Church dedicated to the education and evangelization of the young currrently on five continents 🇻🇦👨🏫 #morefsc#brothersvocation#catholic#teacher
War is not a proposal; it is the refusal of all proposals. War is not an institution; it is the breakdown of all institutions. It is not something that we all agree to have; it is something that we do have when we do not agree.
We pause to honor and remember Bro. Ralph Baltz, FSC, who would have turned 100 last week, and his dedication to the Lasallian Mission just as he would have wanted us to - with a treat for our students. @wolfnationsps
St Bartholomew always carried the Gospel of Matthew. He attributed the results of his preaching to the word of God more than to anything he could say himself. How fortunate you are to carry the Gospel with you at all times. Be faithful to this practice. @sfno#morefsc
We will only be able to bring about the change we wish to see in the world if we are able to teach our students to be individually responsible to do what is right in the world 🎓 🌎 📝
