Biologist Sebastian S. Cocioba thought he was just booking a quiet Airbnb getaway in upstate New York with his partner, but the trip came with an unexpected guide named Cinamen.
The orange tabby cat, who lives at the property near the Appalachian Trail, apparently accompanies almost every guest on hikes through the woods.
According to Sebastian, Cinamen would walk ahead like a seasoned trail expert, stop whenever they wandered off course, and “complain” until they got back on the right path.
He said the cat somehow always knew the way home and even judged them for walking too slowly. Airbnb later responded to the viral post by calling Cinamen “the purrfect trail guide.”
The cat quickly became an internet favorite, with many people saying they now wanted to book the Airbnb just to hike with him.

NEW: Russian President Putin gifts an Alaskan man a new motorcycle after his recent summit in Anchorage.
Mark Warren went viral in Russia shortly before the summit when Russian reporters stumbled upon him on the streets of Anchorage.
Warren was flagged down by a Russian TV crew on August 9 when they noticed his Soviet-era bike.
The crew was fascinated with the bike and started asking Warren questions about it.
Warren said that maintaining the bike was becoming difficult because the manufacturing plant is now "located in Ukraine."
"The reporters stopped to admire Warren's bike, which is manufactured by Ural, whose original factory was founded in 1941 in what was then Soviet Russia," Reuters reported.
The story went viral in Russia and even caught the attention of Putin, who then gifted him a new bike.
"I'm speechless, it's amazing. Thank you very much," Warren said.

This criminal, an illegal alien from Mexico, is now in immigration proceedings. Justice will be served.
Democrat Delia Ramirez: Guatemala first, America second.
If you openly assert your allegiance to a foreign country, you have no business being in the U.S. Congress.
You won’t find Nebraska on this list — and that’s for good reason.
Nebraskans believe in the rule of law and support law enforcement with everything we’ve got. I am proud to partner with @POTUS on this work. His Administration has made historic progress in securing our border and getting criminal, illegal aliens off our streets.
