@eeshaakram1 @Shuchiii141979 But they literally used that as a reason to break apart their homeland? Thats WHY this is contentious. They wanted to ONLY HAVE AN ISLAMIC COUNTRY WITH AN ISLAMIC IDENTITY i.e pakistan. You cant claim to be " a different people" and then appropriate that culture you abandoned
@rarerrose_ Maybe its because pakistan is just residents of the area within india, now known as pakistan, who wanted an islamic nation, plus indians who wanted an islamic nation , minus native "pakistanis" who didnt want an islamic nation ?
Thats not a culture you can remove indians from
@EYounaan32770 Your "us" is a bunch of people that moved in from india because someone wanted an islamic nation. Meanwhile a lot of real natives moved here. Either during partition, or a longer time ago.
@EYounaan32770 Quite Literally, the people in india lived there. Literally up until 70 years ago, millions of indians were residents, creators and inheritors of that civilization before we exchanged populations. This is one civilization, fractured along the lines of a religion that came later.
@AnnuKaushik253 Pakistanis are attempting to appropriate the culture they divorced by dividing their motherland into two. Otherwise what was even the point of the partition?
THEYRE GOING TO TAKE ALL THE GOOD INDIAN STUFF AND THE WORLD WILL ONLY KNOW INDIA AS THE RIDICULOUS CURRENT NARRATIVE
