@MichaelOnSports Fair, I’ve just always seen the coach call a timeout then ask for the challenge, at least that’s usually how Daigneault does it. Wasn’t sure if it was a thing where you had to “officially” call a timeout in order to get a challenge recognized
OKC has so many picks/assets, they should start trading for and exiling stars to the G-League just so their biggest threats can't have them. Have Giannis and Harden ever been to Sioux Falls?
Charlie Kirk, a name synonymous with having the courage to speak what you believe and seek/welcome conversations with those whom you disagree with.
I’m not a political person but I am a proud American citizen and today was startling, saddening, and maddening all at the same time.. I’ve realized that I’m a bit naive to how crazy it all has become but watching a man get hunted and slayed in broad daylight because of his opinions made me disgusted and devastated.
This can’t be what we actually are or become as a country.. I believe that the good people will always outnumber the evil people but damn… today was an alarming day in our country’s history.
2 kids lost a dad.. a wife lost a husband.. and societal discourse lost a voice.
RIP @charliekirk11.. I send my prayers, thoughts, and love to his family and friends.
Oklahoma City Thunder C/F Jaylin Williams is signing a new three-year, $24 million contract extension with the franchise, sources tell ESPN. Thunder declined Williams' $2.1M team option and negotiated the new raise with his agents Marcus Monk and Sean Kennedy of Excel Sports.
We are 4 days into June, Men's Mental Health Month, and today alone I’ve already seen 3 videos online of women mocking it making fun of men that need help including a trending audio of “I don’t care” about June being Men’s Mental Health month. I even saw one woman making a joke about her committing domestic violence against men and laughing about it. Men make up 80% of all suicides each year (over 500,000) because men are less likely to seek support for mental health issues and video like I saw today are EXACTLY the reason why. Men’s mental health is still a joke to so many. We need to DO BETTER.
ESPN could replace Doris Burke next season, per @AndrewMarchand
“Burke’s spot is not guaranteed for next season, according to sources familiar with ESPN’s preliminary plans. While Breen, the Basketball Hall of Famer under a long-term deal, is not going anywhere, ESPN will evaluate its entire roster.”
