I like mousepads, keyboards and mice. I make pcpartpicker lists.

New artisan pad.
White stiching?

[brokensmile @broken1smile]

This is just crazy 😂

[LOG_PILE @LOG_PILE_]

This was something I was recommended in my Titan 1 video, OMG what an absolute certified gamer hack.

No longer a distraction or consideration.

Good bye cable 🫡

@s1ckox @OrbitalWorks_co @arbiterstudio I haven’t been on twitter much but seeing your posts after a while and you still got some sick photo skills 😂 still on the iPhone or have you upgraded ?

[Sicko @s1ckox]

Initial impressions of the Orbital Pathfinder

It’s been a fun experience dialing in different shapes and seeing how subtle tweaks can completely change the feel. I naturally gravitate toward familiar shapes but enjoy customizing them just enough to suit my grip better.

I’d recommend it to anyone who’s ever wanted to build their own mouse, is still chasing their endgame shape, or already has one but wants to fine-tune it to match their exact grip style.

As I said in a previous post, it’s the kind of mouse that could spark curiosity in mouse modding or even inspire the next wave of custom mouse makers.

If the Pathfinder sounds a like good fit for you, use code "SICKO" for extra savings 🫶

It'll be available Thursday May 15th 2:00 PM PST

@stubbyfps I’m looking to buy few artisan pads ( cheaper shipping 😂) got any recommendations ?

[brokensmile @broken1smile]

@stubbyfps @perkiys @StevenP015 No I get it, just was recommending something 🫡, nevertheless 5600 still great options just see what fits your budget honestly.

[brokensmile @broken1smile]

@stubbyfps @perkiys @StevenP015 I get that it’s just I like to give people that options of an upgrade path, also I suggest you get used parts as you can get great deals on Facebook marketplace, also by any chance do you plan to get a MacBook Pro or something else ? Personally I went for a MacBook Air m4.

[brokensmile @broken1smile]

@stubbyfps @perkiys @StevenP015 Do lga 1700, far better upgrade path if you ever need to … am4 you can only upgrade to 5700x3d whereas with lga 1700 you can go from 12400 to 14600/14700.

[brokensmile @broken1smile]

Because Amazon won’t give me a prepaid shipping label now my proxy won’t allow me to return the product 😐 great gotta love it

[brokensmile @broken1smile]

@stubbyfps How see now I’m just into the basics like a6700 or xt4/5 but I see your point 😂

[brokensmile @broken1smile]

@stubbyfps Usually people go to Sony and you are here switching to Nikon I’m surprised 😂

[Sicko @s1ckox]

The temptation is real with the Sigma BF. Everything about it is sleek and understated, and I love that.

If Apple were to build a DSLR, this design seems about right.

- Compact full-frame camera with a 24-megapixel sensor, appealing to design enthusiasts and smartphone upgraders.

- Advanced video capabilities, including 6K at 30 fps and Full HD at 120 fps, with L-Log for color grading.

- 230GB internal storage and no memory card slot, which may limit flexibility.

- Single USB-C port and no audio jacks, potentially restricting external device usage for video production.

- Priced at $1,999, it’s available for preorder with an uncertain shipping date, possibly launching in April 2025.

As someone who has bought a Titan Xp, an RTX 2080 Ti, multiple RTX 3090s and an RTX 4090, I think this will be the first NVIDIA high-end I've skipped in years.

The RTX 5090 is the fastest GPU, but this is basically Ada Lovelace on steroids.

32% more shaders, 27% higher power consumption, 25% higher MSRP, for around 27%~ more performance.

We are basically looking at linear scaling here.

If the RTX 5090 was cheaper, I might consider it, but even the $1,999 MSRP will be a total facade, we've already gotten leaks from retailers showing most RTX 5090 models will be around the $2,200 - $2,400 mark, and this is simply not worth it for the performance uplift that is offered, given the increase in power and cost.

First RTX 5090 review
"In terms of pure performance, without DLSS, there is a good increase, but the card does not make you shout for a miracle : on average we are talking about a +28%, which however is reflected in a +24% in consumption."

@Amouranth Well this is awkward, I didn’t realise this was a real person who would see my post.

I’m sure she’s absolutely lovely and she should know that I meant no personal offence.

It’s just a matter in these situations of picking what’s worth more.

I researched the prices.
