Just stopped by a newish hole in the wall NYC pizza shop. 10/10
$40-$70 for 1 pizza. No slices.
They only sell 160 pies/day and ALWAYS sell out.
No space for a dishwasher so I watched them outsource dish washing to an offsite company.
$8k/day slangin pizza. 😍 Only in NYC!
hate losing this restaurant. theres a lot to say about the trade area shifting out of weho since the pandemic but I mostly agree that labor and seafood costs have made it extremely difficult to break even even for some of the best operators in the business
I might’ve had the best Indian meal of my life last night. I went to the new Ambassador’s Club in NYC, first of all the restaurant was beautiful feels like a two story Indian Palace and the food is insane. Some of the best lamb chops, curries and Biryanis I’ve ever had.
Chef Karan was so dialed and has the only charcoal fire tandoor oven in Manhattan.
I need to hit more Indian spots now, hit me with the best spots.
This might upset some Philly people, but Danny and Coops cheesesteaks go toe to toe with Angelo’s (same owners, which makes sense). It’s the best cheesesteak I’ve had in NYC, they homemake the bread it’s phenomenal.
I’m a big Cheesesteak guy lmk which other ones I need to hit up in the city.
