@moyal_adam I believe its up to the parents to sit down with their kids and discuss the underlying messages found in many Disney films ... however, only when they're old enough to understand and pin point them on their own .. in the mean time, let your kids enjoy the movies for what they see

@Tweets4Credits I always loved Disney as a child! It wasn't until recently that I started to recognize some of their underlying messages ... it can become disappointing at times, however, their movies continue to be magical to children and that's what's most important

I believe Disney has been able to get away with incorporating stereotypes and prejudices in their movies as they have grown to become a massive profit-driven company. They have in a sense made themselves "un touchable" when compared to other production companies.

I never once considered the stereotypes and prejudices found in the many Disney films that I watched as a child and am currently in shock as I continue to research some of my favourites. What was the most shocking stereotype/prejudice you found in a Disney film?

pops up and informs me about all of the things going on around the world. If that doesn't demonstrate the amount of power social media platforms hold, I don't know what else will.

I'm not someone to watch the news or stay up to date on the most current events ... but somehow, simply having social media manages to accomplish this for me, without even trying. I'll literally go on Facebook to see a cute picture of my cousin and BOOM news on my feed 1/2

@sarahpampena Agreed, my mom taught me from a young age that as woman, we are more likely to be targeted and therefor always have to be aware of our surroundings

@saenayoo307 I think I would be a completely different person ... having social media exposes you to see things and sometimes even alters your perspective and opinion.. its definitely a dangerous game

Maybe it's just me ... but when the pandemic hit and all courses were online, everything seemed so much easier. Now that I'm taking some classes online and some in person, it feels harder. Maybe because my mind is trying to be in two places at once? Or maybe I'm still adjusting

When it comes to social media and growing your social network, the majority of accounts are thriving during high school years and then die down after college and university - Maybe because we're out growing it and becoming less dependent on it for entertainment ? What do u think?

@poolsideconvos1 You're right, I think the fact that we're all more focused on working and doing well in school than partying and going out, definitely affects how much we use social media

Whenever I make a new account, I automatically skip over the terms and conditions ... half the time they word it in such a complicated manor that you don't understand, get frustrated and just accept & move on.
