@poolsideconvos1 Of course, I think this is one of the challenges of incorporating digital technologies in education, teacher's lack of training and competency regarding digital technologies.
All along all I think this course has been very informative on the various benefits of technology on learning while also teaching us how to stay safe online. I’m so glad I took this class. Anyone else??
Children nowadays should learn about digital citizenship and it’s various aspects such as digital heath and wellness and very importantly digital security to make sure they are protected when navigating online #Lesson12
Once they learn how to properly use the technology, they will be all the safer for it as well as be able to utilize the online services at hand to their fullest potential without the risk of exposing themselves to the harmful aspects of the internet #Lesson13
As a teacher I’d teach my students digital citizenship and it’s various steps in the classroom as a step by step process going over each facet of using digital technology the responsible way #Lesson13
I also enjoyed the Mickey Mouse Monopoly movie as well as the Sherry Tuckle TedTalk. Both were eye opening videos, and its messages will stick with me forever
Teaching children digital etiquette and security makes it so that they know how to properly use the internet in a meaningful and harmless way while also making sure they stay safe of any potential threats that could be lurking about online #Lesson12
Racial portrayal in a Disney movie began being more fair and heartfelt as opposed to earlier portrayals(Coco,Soul, Turning Red are all examples of diversity done right in Disney movies).(4/4)
Over the years however, once Disney saw the success of having movies led by casts of different backgrounds and hoe much money it made them(Black Panther, an all black cast made over 1 billion$ at the box office largely led by the black community) they decided to pursue that(3/4)
Looking back at iconic Disney characters of diverse ethnic backgrounds, a lot of them followed general stereotypes or bad representations of their race.(Original Disney movies had black actors usually portray villains or be undercoated) (2/3)
