Honestly being in analysis and experiencing real analytic boundaries for the first time, then having to go back and unpack whatever the hell was actually going on in all of your previous therapy experiences, is such a trip!

Birth order, gender, parents’ changing circumstances, different temperaments, each child experiences the family differently.

Being bored is not always such a bad thing. Instead of trying to fill every waking hour with short videos and messages take some time to not do anything. Just sit there and think. You will be able to figure out most of the things that make you anxious.
Suicide among the youth has become a worrying issue. In the past few days I have heard three cases from people I talked to. We need a separate mental health strategy as a country, more training of professionals, a suicide hot line and increased awareness creation in the media.

Conflicts or natural disasters are some of the things that make you appreciate what you have. I say this because in these instances you can lose everything you have in a blink of an eye.
So take time to look around and appreciate what you have around you.
Sometimes we never truly appreciate some of the most valuable things we have until they are taken away from us. Often times we truly appreciate our health or work when we get sick or become unemployed.
On October 10 mental health day was celebrated nationally and globally. The message during the celebration was about making mental health care accessible during disasters and emergencies.
