#SBLAAR26 Preliminary program book is already out! Of course, one of the first things I did was search “Stoicism.” Really excited about this one on 1 Cor 15 by @chrisryankugler https://t.co/nh769YZL5M…
@mattemeyer@chrisryankugler Yeah Gorman suggests in his new one that they they were all written in the 40s (Mark Matthew Luke John). He’s open that Matthew and Luke could be later but is inclined to say John knew them as well.
Another great one from MG. Compelling theological connections (wh/ he emphasizes is most important thing). Accepts consensus order of Gospels, but dates all 4 to the 40s. My biggest ? is how much this dating separates Lk from Acts, wh/ obviously can’t date earlier than AD 62. 🤔
Changes. Space for apparatus greatly reduced: selection of mss reduced, removal of mod translations, & of punctuation apparatus (wh/ I actually liked), confidence ratings redefined & changed (!). Back Matter removed: cross refs, allusions & parallels, alternative readings. See:
