In the Gospel this Sunday, Jesus instructs us, “learn from me for I am meek and humble of heart.” Jesus wants us to learn from His example how to deal with the burdens of our daily lives. He reminds us that His “yoke is easy” and His “burden is light”. With Jesus’ assistance we can accomplish all things! Happy Sunday!
🇺🇸 Happy 250th Anniversary, America! 🇺🇸
Today we join the nation in celebrating 250 years of freedom. As we give thanks for the blessings of liberty, we pray for peace, unity, and justice in our land, and we remember that true freedom finds its fullness in Christ.

"Catholic" doesn't just mean a religion; it means universal. 🌍 From the Greek katholikos: a faith meant for every person, every place, every time. That's not just a name; it's a mission statement. 🎥 Watch this How to Catholic video to go deeper.

This past week we celebrated the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Consecration of our Nation to His Sacred Heart, recalling the profound love that Jesus has for each of us.
This weekend's Gospel gives us another powerful image of that love: "At the sight of the crowds, Jesus' heart was moved with pity for them, because they were like sheep without a shepherd." That pity so gut-wrenching - the kind a parent feels for a sick or suffering child, where the child's pain becomes their own.
That is how Jesus looks upon us. He sees us, He knows us, He loves us. Our concerns matter to Him, and He makes our pains and sufferings His own. As St. Paul reminds us, God proves His love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Have a Blessed week.
