Jesus never promised his disciples that it would be easy to follow Him! Yet, in the same breath, He assures us to not worry. Here is my Sunday reflection on this Father's Day. Happy Sunday & Happy Father's Day!
⚾ LGM: @mrmet made a surprise appearance at the end of the morning Mass today in the @BrooklynDiocese.
A Mass at Sacred Heart of Jesus in Bayside, Queens, marked the end of the school year, and the @Mets mascot came to celebrate a stellar 2025-2026 year at @catholicschlsbq.
Happy Easter! this Sunday we read Peter’s message to the early Church, "Although you have not seen him you love him;
even though you do not see him now yet believe in him,
you rejoice with an indescribable and glorious joy,
as you attain the goal of your faith, the salvation of your souls."
This message is for you and for me - for although we haven't seen, we believe. May the Risen Lord continue to strengthen our belief! Peace be with you!
@BishopRayC was the celebrant for our Holy Thursday Mass of the Lord's Supper, which was followed by adoration at the altar of repose.
Special thanks to our incredible team of altar servers who not only served the Mass but also rehearsed during the morning as well!
As the Church begins this week which we call “Holy”, let us enter with hearts prepared for the coming days. Allow me this chance to wish you and your families a blessed Holy Week - here I share some ways you can make this week special! God bless you.

As we strive to follow the commandments of the Church which help bring us closer to God, Jesus invites us to a deeper relationship by fulfilling the law as described in the Gospel this weekend. The season of Lent (beginning this Wednesday) is a great time to grow closer to the Lord. Let’s pray for one another during this special time!
Last Saturday I enjoyed celebrating with the Irish Apostolate of the @BrooklynDiocese the second annual Mass in honor of St Brigid of Ireland. Despite the cold and icy conditions over 300 people came to the @StJoseph_BK for Mass and fellowship. Special thanks to the @NYPDPipesDrums for their presence at the celebration. St Brigid of Ireland, pray for us
Today, I attended the Mass of Installation for the 11th Archbishop of the @NY_Arch, @AbpNewYork Ronald Hicks, at @StPatsNYC. Here I am with @BrooklynDiocese Auxiliary Bishop Witold Mroziewski. Welcome to New York!
In today’s gospel from Matthew, we encounter Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount. Jesus invites us to rethink worldly desires and understand greater the Kingdom of Heaven. May His message inspire us today and always. Happy Sunday!
The Gospel this Sunday places us at the call of Simon Peter & his brother Andrew and James & his brother John. We are inspired by their calling and hope to tune our hearts to hear the call of Jesus in our life. How will that call change our life? I explain in my Sunday reflection. Happy Sunday & stay warm!
Stay awake! As we begin this blessed season of Advent we realize this is the time for us to deepen our relationship with Jesus through spiritual practices and through the readings at Holy Mass. As the prophet Isaiah invites us to "climb the Lord's mountain", let us journey ahead together. Happy Sunday!
This Thanksgiving arrives during a holy year—a jubilee focused on hope. We are called to be pilgrims of hope, walking together and encouraging one another on life's journey.
How do we live firm in hope? By giving thanks always. Gratitude reminds us of God's blessings and assures us He is present in our lives.
I'll be giving thanks for you and for the privilege of serving the Lord and His people in Brooklyn and Queens.
God bless you and have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
