its been years since i have actively posted on social media, but today that changes. I want to use X as a way of keeping myself accountable to the goals i have set. Plus, my writing has gone to shit with AI, so hopefully this helps with that too.

I have been a PM at the same silicon valley tech company for the past 4-5 years, but for the last 4 months I have reluctantly tried to get a B2B side project off the ground but have very little to show for it: 0 users, $0 MRR

At a bare minimum I’m going to post my weekly progress towards the goal of getting 10 clients and $5k MRR by end of year. Let’s see how this goes :)

My biggest struggle (being pre-PMF and trying to sell to non-technical SMBs) is convincing them to work with me in the first place. I've tried email campaigns and even cold walking into businesses, but this week i'm going to switch to cold calling, which in theory will produce deeper customer insights than email and allow for quicker reps than walking into a business.
