Quinnen Williams on what drives him to win with the #Cowboys:
"I want to win for not only me, myself personally, but guys like Dak Prescott who works his tail off and has been here 10 years and deserves a Super Bowl," Williams said. "And guys like CeeDee [Lamb], who's a five-time Pro Bowler and been here for five years, and who deserves a Super Bowl."
"You just see those things like that, and you just see how great they were last year, and the defense wasn't so great. It just urges me, personally, to get this defense together so the hard work that they put in won't just be going to waste anymore."
🔬... something has been on my mind a lot lately so i'll verbalize it here:
the fact that, only one year later, Tyler Booker has so instantly and effectively stepped in and lived up to his first-round pick status that we, collectively, haven't uttered a word of concern about the daunting task of replacing Zack Martin.
🤔... sit with that for just one moment and consider how unreal that was for a rookie. #Cowboys #TimeForYear2
Jerry Jones said he would be willing to “give up the future,” to add a big time player to the roster because of how good he feels about this team at the moment. Said he had a conversation with an owner as recent as Monday.
In #Cowboys news this morning, a team source tells me EVERY player is a go for practice. Physicals took place this morning.
Every player is also here and accounted for.
The Dallas Cowboys are headed to Oxnard for training camp today.
They literally went the actual entire offseason without any real or serious drama. No massive headlines of a negative variety. Zero taglines making promises.
Just unbelievable. A football miracle, really.
Insane: On the 24th day of the month, and in the 81st NBA season, LeBron James signs with the Philadelphia 76ers, Kobe Bryant’s birthplace.
We should’ve known all along. (h/t @fliff)
I actually respect LeBron for choosing Philly.
He could've gone back to Cleveland or Miami, where he's beloved no matter what happens. Instead, he chose a place where he has zero built-in equity with one of the most passionate fan bases in sports.
If it doesn't work, he'll get crushed. That's a risky move, and it takes confidence to make it.
Here is what former Pros who drop the “you never played” card don’t understand:
Your playing experience 100% gives you a deep reservoir from which to form correct opinions.
It does not automatically give you correct opinions.
Little suggestion to my friends @NBCGolf gimme a little more Paul McGinley in the future. I know @GolfChannel has him really busy with “Live From” but like all things in sports television it’s the actual EVENT that matters most. He’s made a few cameo appearances and his energy and personality raises the level of everyone on the telecast. ⛳️👏
Or… CRAZY thought… he’s being honest. What axe does he have to grind? He smacked Bryson around in the final round of the 2025 Masters and it was Bryson complaining that Rory didn’t talk to him. You’ve got this one in reverse
