@academyofidiots@tragicbirdapp This is weird and racist. One, because those eyes are very common amongst different ethnic groups in Africa/Asia and black people in America. I always thought those kind of eyes were beautiful anyways! Ugh, tired of racism
@Mayur_Rathi_ @dutch_kib@ThatDamnFreshie Dealing with colorism within my own community only to deal with it with another cultural background was eye opening for me. Extremely hurtful too. I love the culture, I love the food. But the colorism.... smh
@Mayur_Rathi_ @dutch_kib@ThatDamnFreshie Our divorce was the happiest thing ever. He remarried, to another black woman. He was adamant about making sure his parents respected me. I remember he told them he would disown his own parents if they disrespected me. So they was nice to me for that reason
@Mayur_Rathi_ @dutch_kib@ThatDamnFreshie I remember she literally told me that if we had kids, she'd make a lightening cream for our child. His friends made fun of me because I'm a black woman who is also plus size. The way the women stared at me with disgusted looks. How they constantly made fun of me.
@Mayur_Rathi_ @dutch_kib@ThatDamnFreshie It doesn't excuse the blatant racism I've experienced with them when u lived in DC. It was worse when they found out my ex husband was indian. He's the same color as me. His parents only accepted me If we had kids and used lightening cream on them. His mother told me this as well
I dont eat much American made chocolate candy, but a few weeks ago I had a snickers and today I took a bite out of a butter finger. The smell and taste is disgusting now! What the hel happened?
@JayCartere@CNN You didn't even look fat in your before photo. Just some fat deposits a bit around the waist and tummy. Men can lose weight like it's nothing I swear! The moment my hormones act up I gain 5 chins
@royalepains I was bullied as a kid to the point that I had to learn to trust people in my adult years. As an adult, years ago, I loved seeing myself do better than my bullies. It felt good.
