@e_goeth He’s still making great music if you’re actively looking for it. His stuff has only gotten better, even better than labor days which was one of the best. ITS and spirit world field guide are both fantastic.
@HestarKaty@JoshRaby I think the real humor is that the book of Isiah is fairly harsh and has many passages calling out fakes and grifters in the text.
@UnkleDell Isn’t this Boston tea party type stuff? Isn’t this how revolutions start.? I don’t get all the corp bootlicking. I wonder if colonists were like… omg, I needed that tea… it cost me my job, that tea took a long time to get here now we won’t have any. Get with it! Viva revolution
@OsoBlanc0 I recently did a rewatch (internet archive) and it was a phenomenal show. I loved it back in the day but wow did I yearn for it now. Nightlife was way better. *in Dave attell voice* Sure some of it’s slightly problematic but it’s all in good fun!
@lloydkaufman@nytimes@BDisgusting@ToxicAvenger@Cineverse@Troma_Team Saw it last night! Loved it! Macon Blair did a great job keeping the tone just right for modern audiences. It was disgusting fun with lots of laughs and gore. The original is in its own class but this was a fantastic reimagining. Cheers!
