@CraigHope_DM Leaving one of few truly world class players at home is not the way to go. In big moments, you need big talent and big egos. So what if he challenges others to be better, Bellingham has proven in previous campaigns that he can be the man.
@Kevsol@davidallison88 But poor? That’s too much, we matched an established PL side, the stats were slightly in our favour, and won the game. This is only the second / third time the majority of the lads have played together.
@davidallison88@Kevsol Agree that we stuck in, but wouldn’t say we were poor. The game was quite tight and tactical, neither team wanted to commit men forward. It’s only our third game back in the PL, and third game in England for some of the lads. Another promising performance.
@D_Heslop81@SAFCFANSVIEW ‘Diarra had better showings’ tells you everything you need to know, David! The guy has been on of our best performers in his first three PL games.
@ross2382@henrywinter I’m certainly not, Gold. All I’m saying is that while the initial offer might not have been what Newcastle wanted, it wasn’t disrespectful. Not very balanced journalism.
@davidallison88 But it was a free swing in reality. We’re seemingly comfortable in a play off spot. Go and win the game. Great first half, but then we came under a lot of pressure. He needed to do something to help the players out, they were grafting hard.
@wearside39@davidallison88 What even is ‘the model’? They seem to get to deadline day, with too much to do too often! They should have identified targets and be doing business early in the window.
