On device ML is a corporate wish to avoid paying an AI inference provider. Apple is praying on device will be good enough to avoid paying someone else and risking becoming a dumb box
Every product I’ve ever been a part of has been the result of constant arguing and negotiation over what to build next and why. Only the slam dunk bug fixes are so trivial in nature that everyone agrees. Or when you are a one person team.
Why would AI make people agree faster?
Might be proven really wrong but I feel like autonomous bug and vulnerability detection being “solved” by mythos suggests that human software engineering work for obvious win-wins will decrease. But most things aren’t obvious win-wins.
I nuked all plugins and skills to reduce context bloat in Claude and have seen no dip in skills while reducing compactions. This reflects an interesting shift in software architecture as we go from pre-caching as much as possible to preferring on demand calculations
I'm using Claude to generate a family tree with help from my Mom on collecting the information. I'm trying to imagine in my head what the coolest, most interesting way to display all the information would be. Maybe an interactive walkthrough with images and locations
Anyone else struggling to remember what each workspace / desktop is working on while vibe coding several things in parallel? Curious what folks are using to solve
Just realized I could tell Claude to figure out the full Vercel deployment rather than clicking a bunch of UI buttons in the website and configuring manually.
With young kids, I'm fascinated by how quickly they grow, and documenting it along the way. I made this for me and my wife to record our kids voices as they learn to speak https://t.co/jQfU9naBeK Hope others find it useful!
I had Claude do my taxes this year to compare to the results from my accountant. 1.4% error rate vs a professional. Would like to try again in a year to measure progress.
@darweenist@thekevinqi This is a fairly profound statement. Everyday on Product Hunt there are 3-4 OpenClaw clones. One was touted as $0/month yesterday. Perhaps reflects that the high volume use case of personal assistant will never be profitable and instead is expected to be free like email
I'm seeing so many products created daily and feels like none of them are breaking through due to the noise. Feels like Marketing will be more valuable in a post Claude world.
