Why is Eskom changing the system?

Why couldn't they recode the meters remotely without customers needing to do the admin?

Electricity should be cheap my brother, we have an abundance of resources to generate Electricity. The funding model of Eskom is that they shouldn’t produce profits, but generate revenue enough to sustain themselves. They’ve taken that advantage and suffocated people to produce that profit for the IPPs hence electricity is so expensive.

A female SAPS member at Tsakane Police Station slapped a man who arrived at the police station and questioned why they were not helping a woman attempting to open a GBV case.

He found a woman asleep while the officers allegedly refused to assist her.

The female member has not been arrested for GBV for slapping the man and for allegedly beating another woman who was taking the video.
