Allegations of so-called 'parental alienation' are not about protecting children but are about reframing the narrative so that mothers are blamed for the actions of abusive men.
@seige_of I lost my children due to Ms Gill to stage where they are living with the father over fabricated PA from Ms Gill. The damage she has done is horrendous and the damage to my children I dread to think. I live every day knowing I will never see them again.
✳️ All safe parents who have had their children removed from their care, based on the recommendations of this individual, in #FamilyCourt proceedings, need to have their cases urgently reviewed...
➡️ Why is the #FamilyCourt allowing this "parental alienation" "expert" to continue, knowingly putting children at risk by forcing them into contact with, or custody of, abusive parents❓️
⚠️ This cannot continue ⚠️
The system needs an urgent redress; Children's lives & futures are at stake @AlexChalkChelt@CommonsJustice@GOVUK@CommissionerDA@VictimsComm@ChildrensComm
Sadly @hansummers this is so very very true. PA is the typical go to for abusers to gain custody of the child / children they don’t want just still want to hurt you.
"There is now a strong body of evidence that allegations of so-called alienating behaviours are made in response to allegations of domestic abuse arguably to negate or deflect from them." @BeckFitzgerald says as a result, children are being harmed 👉 https://t.co/5EFaud4MEk
This is the year that parliament must legislate to ban unregulated, unqualified ‘experts’ from being appointed in family court proceedings. It’s a scandal that decisions with lifelong consequences for children including removal from their primary carer can be based in the views people without relevant qualifications and who are completely unaccountable. Despite joint BPS/FJC guidelines the courts are still allowing this to happen. Legislation is the only recourse. Kaydens Law in the US has achieved this, the UK shouldn’t be left behind @AlexChalkChelt
@BarnettAdrienne Sadly it shall be too late for some of us however I truly hope it works. The scary part is whilst some of these experts have wound their business up they have moved on to a company so they can’t be touched.
@court_crisis I lost it in church this morning, sat and burst into tears and just broke down. Despise the family courts and all the lying professionals with em.
It’s extremely concerning when you get an email advising solicitor who was handling your case is leaving. Am now facing the fact that somebody new has got to read the files, get up straight with everything & start all over again. Talk about Mickey Mouse establishment. No faith.
@thesilencedmum 5/ and yet I felt like I had shared it with the devil 👿
I was gaslight, told how by time my children come of age they will not want to see me as it is clear this is the case and I have suffered a profound loss but to learn to live with it.
Had court appointed therapy, he ended it saying already had too much therapy & as I’m so shut down & still in survival mode not worth doing.
Also got told how as you have lost your children & won’t get them back even when they become of age I have experienced a profound loss.
@thesilencedmum 4/ and got around the corner and burst into tears. I said how surly by him choosing to not continue they will say I have failed of which he said no it is of his choice as I am so shut down & damaged. I felt like I had shared my soul as was open and honest
